The table below offers a master list of all SWE collegiate sections, ordered by their charter date.  The first SWE collegiate section was Purdue University, Heartland region, while UIUC SWE was the 4th school chartered, and the second in Region H.  Schools for which only the month and year were available were listed as the first of that month, and a few schools for which only a year was available were converted to January 1st of that year.  Data is courtesy of SWE National.
